We welcome your interest and participation in The Perth Emmaus Community which includes people from many diverse Christian fellowships who have found in Emmaus an opportunity to be encouraged and to inspire others along their journey of faith.
So much has changed since our last Newsletter! At that time, we had held our Walk Orientation and had gone ahead in faith with our first Training Day for Walks 67 and 68. Soon after – lockdown!
As an organisation we need to demonstrate responsible care and compassion for all members of the community as well aspossible pilgrims. We want pilgrims to have a full Emmaus experience. This is one of connecting with others and sharing incommunity.
Is your life filled with all the things you still have to do? Life is like that sometimes, we are rushing everywhere under the powerful tyranny of the urgent.
Welcome to your Fourth Day and to the community for all those who completed their pilgrim walks on Walk 65 and 66. I remember the weary excitement I felt when I completed my pilgrim walk. I was exhausted! but excited about my new found friends, the inspiration for my spiritual life and a new call to the discipleship life to which Jesus calls us.
